Not to say that I am happy but what has been said has been said. The flag will be going back into Pride Park Stadium - I believe that is the right thing to do. Cant obviously disclose everything on a forum but I have had many chats with alot of people and I believe that a line needs to be drawn on the matter. As I have already said there is only so much I can disclose on a forum for obvious reasons. In answer to your questions. - No the statement has not been changed. No the club have not reimbursed any costs, I wasn't asking for any reimbursement of costs as this wasn't the issue with Derby. The reason I highlighted this in the first place was because I felt let down that a false statement in my opinion had been made regarding me. This will not change though. Even if it did it would not have a bearing on the outcome of the IFO case into Blackpool. It just, in my opinion, did not help my cause. Everyone at the club is aware of this and what has occured. I haven't been told to keep quiet but if I cannot change an opinion that someone has given what can I do. Its done and dusted now. I am still dissapointed but certain people know what I am about and what I am like - this matters more to me than what another one person thinks. The solution I wanted was for Derby to recognise that they perhaps got it wrong in the statement. Like I said I have spoken to many people at the club, alot of decent folk, and am now happy that the situation has been made clear to me. Time to draw a line on the matter. Like I have said, I cannot change someones opinion on me. If that is what they believe, that is what they believe. I have already said I was dissapointed this was the case as thought I had a good relationship, sometimes you get proven wrong but we live in a dog eat dog world nowadays. I know better, as do MANY MANY others and I will walk away the better man. You have to remember its quite hard going up against the club you love. I know you don't know my circumstances and perhaps if we ever met in the pub I would fill you in and then you may understand.
