Day Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 I was thinking about this the other day and I don't usually think to much but anyhow, we know the Scottish and Welsh are being abit mardy about this, why have we got an English man in charge of the mens team and English woman in charge of the womens team. The obvious answer will be they would be f'in uselss, but I think it would of been better to appoint joint managers for both the mens and womens with the Scottish and Welsh involved. ANGERMAN1 Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 Of course the team is going to be rubbish, we have EURO 2012, So the best U21 players will be focusing on that and desperate not to rule themselves out. Over 23's will also have to be people outside of the set-up. Tricky for SP to try and get a balance of nationalities too. But won't be able to judge him until the team is announced. When is that?. People like Sinclair (for example) still believe they can creep into the EURO2012 squad so won't want to put themselves forward for the GB team. Beckham should be picked just to help boost attention of the event. Not bothered how we do tho. I'll blame the Welsh anyway!
