Pudding Jack
they said to clough that its a shame we have to wait two weeks for the next game. With the current injuries and lack of form,I would say we could do with 2 months (or the next school holiday for any new players) wa wa wa waaaaaaaaaa
sage
as Hansen once said, you won't win anything with kids. You certainly won't win anything with schoolkids! Let them grow up in the reserves where results don't matter. Of course he said that in the first few weeks of a season when Man U won the title. Asanovic
Of course he said that in the first few weeks of a season when Man U won the title. I think that year the 'kids' had at least completed their GCSEs and A-levels though!

Despite last Saturday being frustrating, it's only three points. The kids that game on will have got some decent experience (perhaps not Hughes so much). The new contract, the youth players - it's all part of a bigger plan. Our 2013/14 promotion side could be... I'm not sure what he would have got out of being played out of position, Saturday probably finished him.

I think they were old enought to have done their GCSEs and A-Levels, but I doubt they actually completed any!!!

No - no place for Connor Doyle. Jake Buxton got a gobful of abuse on Saturday - playing out of position Russell Anderson regularly gets several gobs full of abuse - playing out of position One rule fits all. NothernRam
Talking about 'playing out of position' I thought Naylor is centre back or right back. Ryan Connolly is a left winger. Will Hughes is an attacing centre mid.

NothernRam
Will Hughes is a left sided midfielder, isn't he? He is not left sided mid. It's Clough who put him out of position on saturday. Not surprising though.

I have seen him twice for U18 team. He wore number 10 and played just behind Ball at Sheff. Utd game. He looked like a decent player.
