I haven't seen The Damned United, my loathing goes back to Clough seniors time, I was a Popsider, and remember Revie sending a reserve team to The Basie prior to a European tie they had, they were a cynical bunch of gets that didn't really need to be because they could turn it on. LOL ! it isn't but the sad fact is no one cares about you, for a club that is pretty sad and at least we have rivalries where we can look forward to that one game every year when it matters, you don't have that, I have pity for your banal football club. Leicester are nothing to me, and to many I suspect, but I don't mean that in an insulting way. I neither like or dislike them. Just another side. Could be Watford or Coventry for all I mind. Having said that, i'm leaning towards dislike given the cash injection and how unfair it is. No doubt that within 5 years it'll all have changed and they may be employing someone I like as manager, and i'll be hoping they do well for them. Nah. I remember the feelgood factor as a teenager when we won our titles, the town (as it was then) was buzzing and I wouldn't swap those memories for a hundred wins over Leeds, still, each to their own.
