Thought they were already pretty pointless. Love the bit in the McLaren interview where the guy suggests that Forest have the ability but asks if they have a mental problem? Schteeve: "Absolutely! It's the 6 inches between their ears that counts" More shrewd than we suspected!

"On a day of frequent [url=http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/sep/17/nottingham-forest-derby-county-championship#]showers, the angry home supporters were in no doubt which was the biggest shower of the lot – their [url=http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/nottinghamforest]Nottingham Forest team"

And suggests that instead of shouting at ref, the forest players might have tried tackling Jamie!
Hucknall Ram
You heard him on the tv shouting play on. Like a forest fan said on LTLF yes Derby could of kicked it out but if Pearce was on the pitch he would kick Ward into row z to make sure the game stopped. sarnies
Great post NottsRammy! As a veteran of the BC era, those words brought a tear to my eye, I'm absolutely sure you've got it spot on. Nigel has The Black & White coursing through his veigns, no doubt whatsoever. I really hope the Derby faithful (and not so faithful) can now see that and finally give him their unwavering support. orangefleece
i think one vital point has been missed from Saturdays game , the fact that the team got back to winning ways, the last few seasons after having a good run of results, we have then trumped it by having and even better run of bad results. The two defeats this season were echo's of what has happened in previous seasons but determination and charcter, which has been lacking for a season or two, saw us get back to winning ways. Absolutely, just as important as beating Them, was that we stopped the losing run. Another victory; affirms us in the top 6; bolsters our confidence. Maybe we aren't in a false position up there?! Martyn
Personally I love the guardians opening paragraph in their Forest - derby report. And the headline - "Derby County's Jeff Hendrick..." how proud must you feel about that?!
