Day
How are you feeling towards Cotterill tonight? I had a quick peek at your starting line up and saw McGugan and Majewski back in and Greening on the bench, does that make him an instant legend down the A52? Red_Dawn
[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LanCLS_hIo4]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LanCLS_hIo4 Someone posted this on LTLF and i thought it pretty much summed up tonight.. Very chuffed, the goals were both great from the sounds of it and the bloke got a great reception too. Only time will tell whether it carries on or whether its just the honeymoon period as most new managers get. That said there were some groans when Greening came off the bench but even he couldn't **** it up tonight! Is saturday at Pride Park or empty seat stadium in Boro? MrsRam
Well if I were a Forest fan ( 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ), I would be a bit annoyed at the players, they obviously made it difficult for Schteve and acted like spoilt kids, tweeting that they wanted billy boy back and obviously not playing for him. Let's hope it's just the 'honeymoon' for them. Wouldn't surprise me if the same thing happened with Schteeeevvvvve

MrsRam
God, player power eh? When Schteve spoke on the telly, you could see his frustration and total bewilderment - and that's what Jewell had - wtf's gone wrong? what's the answer? Things might not be as bad for Forest as you fans think RD - and your first win at home, was a help to us. Good job all round. Red_Dawn
does he want any of his money back at all? No, like hes said several times - he counts that as a right off. Hes a forest fan at heart, wouldn't leave us in administration by asking for it back anyway

"Contracts of the players signed during my time as chairman will be honoured by me outside the normal cash flows of the club. This will ensure that the club has a breathing space to adapt to a new structure. However, once these current liabilities have run off, there will be no more financial support." Is that the new Financial fairplay rules I can hear being flushed down the toilet? What a waste of time- they aren't worth the paper they are printed on! Clubs have got 3 years to impliment them fully, they couldn't bring it in in 1 season because clubs are committed to player's contracts. Having said that I agree that the likelyhood of this being actually followed is very slim.
McRamFan
ND is offering to give it away due to the fact that no one will buy it. Fair respect to ND as he could easily put them out if business in 24 hours, however to give something away that easy with no prior negotiation and the offer to personally honour the contracts that are in place is a concern that the club could be naturally on the brink of administration and that NC will try and buy a buyer???? An illegal and high risk strategy, well high risk in any case, just illegal if you get caught or ship ownership to 11 people that own less than 9% and live in the Caymens.
