ladyram
274 days to go folks...... .dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/05_04/2012OlympicStadium_468x376 That stadium looks very nice - I particulaly like the bridges, they're a nice touch. It's a shame the surrounding area is a **** 'ole.

CumbrianRam
the world cup is not no, the selection process for it is a sham. Explains why the footballing hotbed that is Qatar will host the 2022 tournament. I can pretty much guarantee more people give a damn about football and the world cup then they do about cycling, volleyball and all the other tosh that is the olympics. It makes me laugh when the commentators say someone is number 1 in the world, i sit there thinking only about 50 people in the world play that "sport". StaffsRam
Of course it was well worth London winning the bid to host 2012. If it hadn't been for London winning then we wouldn't have been able to p1ss ourselves laughing at all the Frogs gathered in Paris who were expecting to win. Plus it's funny seeing the US getting their @r$e$ handed to them by Cuba in the baseball.
Butthead
might go watch the cycling at Box Hill, see some genuine sporting heroes like Cav and Wiggins rest of it's just pure tosh though ladies beach volley ball and maybe the hockey and swimming but that's just for the purve like women's tennis. it's crap sport but fit birds getting sweaty in HD rocks my boat

ladyram
Doesn't anyone fancy taking a trip to Old Trafford or St. James' Park for any of the footie matches then? Or Coventry? Besides Wembley of course. I wonder how much tickets for those games are? I'm looking forward to the games because it will show the world England in all it's glory. The Royal Artillery Barracks, Eton Dornay, Horse Guards Parade, Hampton Court Palace, The Solent.....tis our chance to show the world what a beautiful country we have, not to mention get an economy boost out of it. Get with the spirit people!

For me there is little to enjoy as I have to say I am not bothered by any of the events and won't be watching either live or on television.
