Wilko
Knowing our luck he will be the **** signing like Edgar Davids for Palace. No thanks. There are a lot of better options for left-back position. Move on. Dare you to name one without calling him "****" straight after
G STAR RAM
Might be good on the coaching side but way too old to take on as a player. Based on the last 5 to 10 matches of this season I am expecting a much better season from Gareth Roberts next time around.
Boz_DCFC
Coaching staff = yes. Player = not really.
Asanovic
If he plays on a one year deal, and we are serious about promotion, he could be a fantastic signing. He can play through the middle as well which, given his age, might suit him, and would provide good cover.
sage
Just because he was in the team that got to the World Cup Final less than a year ago doesn't mean he's good enough for Derby County. Bloody non-league Nigel
Asanovic
He's not an established Championship player, so it's a no.
Cisse
I have been following his career over fifteen years and would love to see him put on Derby jersey. Saw the last match he played and thought that he must be mad to end his career while still being such a great player. Really believe that he could be cracking player in Championship for a year or two. He can play several roles and probably would deliver some good free kicks and corners as well. Also the guy knows a lot about winning and could help on and off the pitch there. As a coach I believe he could bring in a lot of fresh knowledge to the team since he has been working with many top coaches in different countries. suffolkram80
Would be good to use as squad cover as is adaptable on the leftside. Also make use of his contacts at Arsenal etc with possible young loanees.
RAMSvsThe World
Well it dont say nothing anywhere else so it cant be true, but if it is would be a great player, also to help out with the young ones
RAMSvsThe World
How much are we gonna pay him, thats if it was true about this ahaha
uttoxram75
Would we not be overloaded with left sided midfielders with Bowyer AND van Bronckhorst?
p.shilton
No because the latter is actually good so the former wouldn't get a kick (unless he was out on the town and saw someone he didn't like)
uttoxram75
I think both would be ok(ish) cover for Pearo although they lack pace.
p.shilton
How ironic, that is all he has!
Stimacked
This one belongs in the amazing signings that were never going to happen thread. There is a lot of crossover between when Metgod was at feyanoord and when Van Bronchhurst was there as a player 1994-98 and again 2007-2010, Metgod was still playing in 1994 there!, He coached Feyanoord from 1997-2004 and again from 2005-2007. Like the idea of the player being enticed out of retirement, but it is not gonna happen. Think he works with the Dutch U21 coaching set up now anyhow. NothernRam
Dare you to name one without calling him "****" straight after Here we go. Roberto Carlos is only 38 and still playing. He plays for a poor russian side Anzhi and would jump to a chance to join massive club like Derby. He only gets €4.000.000 per year so his wages won't be a stumbling block for us. So if we are serious about promotion, he could be a fantastic signing. Sign him up. blah blah blah I already tired of these rumors / talks about these old useless money-grabbers who will never sign for DCFC. Move on.

sage
Did you see Edger Davids at Palace? David's is 2 years older and hadn't played for 2 years. Some people will moan at everything
