Cisse
58 year old, Legendary Wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage has heart attack and crashes into a tree... Not the way I'd have expected him to go. http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slug=ycn-8508663 This is sad news. I used to watch Randy Savage in mid eighties or something like that. He was a good character.

Srg
Must be steroid related, no doubt. So sad having childhood heroes die. Big Bossman, Umaga, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit just to name a few.

Big Bossman, Umaga, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit just to name a few. Owen Hart (very tragic), British Bulldog, Texas Tornado, Mr Perfect & Miss Elizabeth, also come quickly to mind. Even aged 29, I can still enjoy the spectacle of WWF/E.
ladyram
ed, Must be steroid relatno doubt. So sad having childhood heroes die. Big Bossman, Umaga, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit just to name a few. Maybe, maybe not - sometimes you have to consider the fact that people die from heart attacks every day without ever having abused steroids and people may think because he was a wrestler, he must have took them. Although, as you say, a lot of wrestlers have passed through abuse at frighteningly young ages. I think it was only a few years ago that Edge was involved in a steroid ring which the WWE discovered and now everyone has to have regular doping tests. RIP Randy - always one of my fave's becuse he was a showman and good and what he did. Anybody remember when he "married" Miss Elizabeth on the stage? Fake maybe - but fun. Ooooooooooo yeahhhhh. Srg
All the testing picked up massively after Chris Benoit went crazy and killed his family then himself. Most recently, Jeff Hardy got thrown out for drug abuse.

p.shilton
Macho's real name was Randall Poffo, brilliant name. Yes they were married but when she died she was living with Lex Luger

I know a bloke at me gym who talks like a girl and his nuts are the size of a couple of salted peanuts. Very amusing. All down to steroid abuse. ramexpat
Must be steroid related, no doubt. Savage died from a condition known as ventricular fibrillation (VF). VF is a severely abnormal heart rhythm that can lead to fainting or heart attacks.
Mary Hindge
Here's one for ya, why is a legend like Randy not in the hall of fame? Why is he not in any of the games? Reason?
