hows bout this for a song.

We'll be singing

When we're winning

We'll be singing

2x

I get knocked down

But I get up again

You're never going to keep me down

Pissing the night away

Pissing the night away

He drinks a whisky drink

He drinks a vodka drink

He drinks a lager drink

He drinks a cider drink

He sings the songs that remind him

Of the good times

He sings the songs that remind him

Of the better times

"Oh mighty rams

mighty rams

mighty rams..."

2x

I get knocked down

But I get up again

You're never going to keep me down

2x

I get knocked down

But I get up again

You're never going to keep me down

We'll be singing

When we're winning

We'll be singing

could be rather relative in the curcumstances at the min let me know wat u think. chumbawamba - iget knocked down:D

Great tune, not sure how easy it would be singing as a massive group. Worth a try though.

Yeah, best place to be at the moment with the current job market. I hope it goes well for you mate.

Alot of people knock the government policies at the moment, but for the jobless there are plenty of oppurtunities to take advantage of. Mildly annoyed myself that i wasn't aware of them when i was in work.

Anyway, don't wanna go on about that, there are songs to be written!

Good song 'whoneedshulse

Why thank you had it on in my car this morning and thought sounds like a upbeat song rather than drab nige out board out Drabble but it may be hard to do well have to try it on Saturday!

Wow, sparked some good debate!

I guess the point I was making was that it's a shame we don't have a traditional song that is Derby's, that's our property.

Nearly all big clubs do. We could get one going but it just odd how we've never had one

I'd like us to sing Jerusalem. Sung well at Rugby and Cricket games, but never heard it sung at football games. Easy one to learn and sing. Would soon great with a few thousand singing it at PP

Well we might as well become a tribute act for the real Barmy Army if we adopt Jerusalem. All we need is a Jimmy Saville look-a-like.

We've already started singing this song, it's well known as a great chant around St Pauli and Celtic...heard either the Welsh or Irish singing it last night in the nations cup.

No team in England (as far as i know) use it.

We love you,

We love you,

We love you,

and where you go we'll follow,

we'll follow,

we'll follow,

Cos we support the Derby,

the Derby,

the Derby,

and that's the way we like it,

we like it,

we like it,

ooooh ooOOH OOOOH

OOOOH OOooh ooooh

ooooh ooOOH OOOOH

OOOOH OOooh ooooh

A few times whilst listening on Radio Derby you can hear Derby singing this, mostly away from home. It's a song that could become synonymous with the Block A guys as they build up that atmospere along with the bouncing and scarf waving antics.

Nicked from Palace I believe , think we can do better than this

Came across this grandad classic:

Give it a listen, great melody and simple tune to it. Quite apt lyrics too.

I think something could fit nicely to it.

Link doesn't work mate.

Anything blatently ripped off from another team, even a cool, obscure foreign one is small time and crap. Be original!

Oh and just a thought, but can any of the older heads remember any songs from the 70's and 80's that we could start off again? We must have some, surely?

He's here, he's there, he's every f*cking where, John O'Hare John O'Hare

O'Hare then asked the fans to not swear and the chant was changed to

He's here, he's there, he's asked us not to swear, John O'Hare John O'Hare
