Day
Russell Anderson has suffered a setback in his return to fitness. The Derby County defender was due to resume full training today after a two-month layoff with a hamstring injury. But he suffered a calf strain during his rehabilitation work last week and is expected to be out of action for a few more weeks. Manager Nigel Clough told dcfc.co.uk: "It is a blow for Russell, I feel for him. "He has had such a frustrating time this season. "He will be out for a few more weeks, so it could be up to four weeks before he is in a position to join full training again." Anderson started Derby's opening game of the season at Leeds United, but has been limited to three substitute appearance since. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2266935,00.html

mcsilks
He's played 38 games in the last four and a half seasons and half of them are for Derby. Would doubt whether he has much of a career left and at 32 is probably over the moon that any club is daft enough to be paying his wages.
SillyBilly
He has a contract. He is entitled to the terms of that contract. No **** sherlock. At the earliest opportunity get rid. I wasn't suggesting we empty his locker out one morning. All these injured players, don't extend their contracts and pay them off if needs be. PistoldPete
Oh FFS, we really need to sort out CB position. Leacock is out of favour, Brayford out of position and Barker out of form. Now Anderson is out of action . Who does that leave? Buxton : out of his depth. Addison, but maybe hes also out of position, in midfield. Someone coming in on loan next week maybe?
