Changing the Football Calender

It's clear that the winters are getting colder. Pitches stuggle to cope with the ice and the numerous games on during December.

So would it be better if the football season ran from February to November? Or is football best kept as a winter sport?

Agreed... but quite a few weeks have three games in them.

However, one home game and one away game on those two days would be enough for me.

The obvious question, though, from the teams in Europe and with good cup-runs... where do the rest of the games get squeezed in?

In Italy and Spain they have really busy Mays and Junes.

A winter break would only work in our climate if we stopped in November and began again in mid-March. That's when we get bad weather.

Given how **** we have been in the past three Decembers it sounds good to me. 10 points from 51 during December over the past three seasons us shocking.
