On the Ram Page
Being optimistic, our fortunes improve and we reach the Playoffs. We will need to have our best players available. Cashin, Smith and McGoldrick all picked up yellow cards again against Ipswich. Does anyone know how close our players are to Suspensions? I have been unable to find any quick statistics on the Club Website or EFL Website re the Rule at this stage of the season. This aspect could be vital if we make the Playoffs, together with injuries. Needs to be carefully managed - as soon as we reach the Playoffs (fingers crossed) do we wrap McGoldrick, Cashin?, Smith? up in cotton wool to avoid suspensions and injuries? Remember what happened to George Thorn a few seasons back! Has anyone any stats on yellow cards?
FindernRam
Catch 22: If we don't play to our absolute best teams we will not make the playoffs. We will not know if we do until after the last normal game so we cannot do any player management before hand. We have to go for it "all guns blazing" Taribo
Tamworthram
I thought I'd read somewhere, but I can't find it now so I may have been imagining it, that the number of yellow cards is reset at game 38.
ram59
I don't know how old this rule is, but it states; 2 match ban for 10 yellows by week 32 3 matches for 15 by week 38 special ban for 20 during the season So, unless we have anyone heading for the 20 card mark, we should be safe.
