CBRammette
Now that its out of our hands do you think we will start to perform again as we have something to fight for?
Tamworthram
After Saturday’s results I thought I’d update the average league positions for all our opponents but, rather than simple league positions, I did it based on home and away ranking. Average away ranking of opponents for home games: Wycombe 19.6 Bolton. 16.2 Derby. 12.3 Peterborough 9 Average home ranking of opponents for away games: Bolton 17.5 Derby. 14 Peterborough. 13.5 Wycombe. 11.5 So, on paper, we actually have an easier run in than Peterborough and tougher one than Bolton. For Wycombe, we have a harder run in of home games but an easier away run in. Not a particularly useful exercise I know, (who would have expected Peterborough and Wycombe to drop points at the weekend? Although, perhaps not as surprising as you might think. Peterborough have the 7th best home record whereas Exeter have the 10th best away record. MK Dons may be 19th in the league but they have the 13th best away record v Wycombe 8th best home record) but a bit of fun nonetheless whilst I was bored.
