angieram
Radio Derby are starting to release the video interviews from last Thursday's event on Twitter. No interview for 70s as recipient didn't do one, but 80s and 90s are there. Look out for 2010s - it's brilliant! The full programme will be worth listening to as well, there are lots more nuggets of information on there. Boycie
The 70’s winner was on a gagging order from a certain shirt collector allegedly. ? loweman2

cosmic
Anyone else find these winners a bit odd. I know they both bridged decades, but I always think of Saunders as 80s and Poom as 90s. Ambitious
SSD
The decades are wrong surely? Poom was the 90s and Deano 80s. Edited April 27, 2022 by SouthStandDan
angieram
The poll consisted solely of Player of the Season recipients in each decade, so the players were only eligible for the decade in which they won any of those awards. It was a ridiculous distinction, imo, as Roy Mac was ineligible as he never won POTY. Nor Chris Martin! ? I didn't vote for that reason, but the acceptance speeches were so genuine I wished I had!
