loweman2
Brand new version of the book The Colours of The Rams is now out, updated to 2021/22 season, also 60 more pages and a change of format and shirts, also now includes original newspaper reports from 1884 onwards confirming kit colours and changes along with other research and the never seen before original shirt from the first game in 1884, on special offer at the moment for only £12.80 from Amazon, we make no profit from this it really is a labour of love and the only time that the full history has been documented, if you have one of the earlier copies it’s well worth updating as there is a lot more content as the book continues to grow and evolve as we unearth more history. It really is the perfect gift, sort of book that you can leave on the coffee table and pick up and put down at leisure. thank you for your continued support ?? purchase from here https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1727616618 https://phillowe1.tumblr.com/post/660856314949451776/the-colours-of-the-rams-the-shirt-colours-of

ketteringram
If my memory is right, Johnny Russell wore that original kit for the match program cover picture, when he made his debut.

He wore a modern copy of the 1888 shirt to commemorate the 125 years of Derby County being a founder club of the football league, it had the wrong colour collar and a badge where the shirt at the time had no badge.
