Is that the story in Inverurie?

Yes about a 10 hour drive with 4 service station stops both ways, to listen to a load of grumpy old men in the East Stand Upper moan and whinge at there so called beloved Derby County Football Club.

The chairman, the manager, the players all would like us fans to get behind the team and support them.

Derby Co v Sheff Wed Programme Manager's Notes - East Midlands Derby - The flags and sea of black and white ahead of kick-off was fantastic and credit to Mel Morris and the club for making that happen. Gary Rowett.

Derby Co v Sheff Wed Programme Momentum Is With Us - East Midlands Derby - What clearly helped us was the atmoshphere before and during the game and it would be amazing if we could recreate that today. We all know that derbies come with that bit of an edge, but that atmosphere pre-match was a big factor for why we started so well and went on to win the game. When something goes well and the  crowd are behind you, it gives us a little bit more energy and we are going to need that from you over the coming games and months. Enjoy the game! Johnny Russell.

Yep Derby County fans Enjoy the game!

By simple, I just meant wins the ball, looks up, sees a pass, plays it to the player in the spot-on place, for the player to receive it. A bit like Will Hughes's passing ability. Adds strength, and presence. Looks to have time on the ball; doesn't look hurried. Can score the odd goal from the edge of the box. Basically, adds a new dimension. A beacon of light amongst the gloom, an oasis in the desert that is our midfield, a real-ale nestling amongst a six-pack of cheap foreign lager, that sort of thing....

I know what you meant, it was a misguided attempt at humour. Heyho.
