Alph Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 Some of the players people are suggesting selling would significantly weaken the squad. Like selling Shotton and Pearce for example. What if Keogh and Shackell get injured? The whole point of having depth is to cover the first team. Not to sell the good players that are good back up to the first team players. jimbobram Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 I wouldn't get rid of Bent purely because in a team which would suit his style i.e Brighton where they play 2 up top he will be dangerous. He has showed that. I can only see him going to a team in the play offs, because regardless of him not being able to get in our team, he is still very dangerous and his goals for a promotion rival could have a horrible effect on us come end of the season.
