The most noticeable thing today was the sheer distance between Johnson and Hendrick; how can we realistically expect to dominate a game via possession when our 2 advanced midfielders are 40/50 yards apart? We don't need any more personnel, we've got one of the strongest squads in the league, any purchases now would be panic buying. Martin is more than good enough, as are Bent and Blackman. Chrissy just needed a kick up the backside which being dropped looks to have provided. The midfield is what needs to be looked at because the lack of an impression from our midfield is the main reason we have been forced to go route 1 and punt long balls upfield...
