jono Posted October 25, 2015 Share Posted October 25, 2015 When we played Ipswich and drew 4-4 in Maclarens first game I was sitting next to a Norwegian ( ok ok he might have been Swedish ) .. He'd been an exchange engineer at Rolls in the early 90's and had a mission to visit the Rams once a year as. Sort of ritual reminder of happy days. It was the first game he had brought his 7 year old son to. He said he had never seen the Rams loose on any of his visits .. When we were 3-1 down after 20 mins I thought "oh dear" but said to the lad .. You will be our talisman tonight all will be well ... Ha ha ha .. Yeasssss .. Great night ? We were sat opposite a member of the Norwegian supporters club.He said he'd followed the Rams since the 60's/70's because they used to get English football on tv (probably star soccer as it's was midlands based) He comes over to the uk several times a season,and tries to get to 2 or 3 games Had a great chat.Top bloke Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
