I am about to get a PS4.

Would people who have one recommend 500GB or 1TB of memory?

Is there anything else I need to consider?

I like games such as Unchartered, GTA, Red Dead Redemption and the like.  Any recommendations?

The open world adventure games are the best ones.

The Last Of Us

Batman  Arkham Knight

I'm currently playing Metal Gear Solid V which is a massive game. But perhaps slightly over rated but is excellent.

Mad Max is another open world game.

These should keep you busy before Fallout 4 & the new uncharted come out!

Haven't got one but are you likely to keep all your games on your hard drive and keep going back or will it be a play once and that's it.

500GB if you're only playing a couple of games at a time and willing to delete after

1TB if you're wanting to keep all the games on storage to go back and play

I'm old fashioned and will largely be getting my games on disc.

How many controllers do you tend to get in the console packs?

Is there anywhere people recommend getting PS4s from?  Amazon, Game etc?

Got mine from Amazon last year - the Destiny edition - was fine.

only get one controller with the console, but i've always thought Playstation was better at the solitary games.

mine irritates in that after several os upgrades, it doesn't shut down properly. Oh, and of course you have to sign up to an online thing with yet another password

Makes no difference, all games are installed to the hdd so 500gb gets used up quick when the majority of games are 30gb+

I have the original 500gb console but swapped the HDD for a 1tb down the line, dead simple to do.
