"Welling striker Sahr Kabba has become the first player to be charged under a new FA law against feigning injury.
Tranmere's Ritchie Sutton was sent off for appearing to strike Kabba during the 1-1 draw in their National League match on Saturday.
However, Tranmere officials insisted Sutton had made no contact with Kabba and launched a successful appeal using video evidence that led to the FA charging the Welling player under their new policy.
Tranmere boss Gary Brabin confirmed: 'We looked at the footage and there was no contact made.'
Kabba, the former Havant and Lincoln City player, faces a three-game suspension if found guilty. The 26 year old has until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
The FA introduced this new policy prior to the beginning of this season.
The FA's Regulatory Commission has agreed that Sutton is now available to play in Saturday's derby against Chester at Prenton Park."

Is this the beginning of end of the fakers or will the FA buckle when it comes to enforcing the policy in the Premiership?

Wouldn't this just tip Mourino over the edge?. Go for it.

I do think, though, that if the FA is going to get serious about this, they should have sent a signal out by penalising a big player/club first instead of just hitting a low league club with it, who won't be able to challenge it in the same way that Man City or Chelsea would.

Mr Big Stuff Mourinho won't like it, that's for sure.

Perhaps the FA figure it best to go after lower league players first so as to set a precedent to utilize when dealing with likes of Chelsea.
