Conor Coady: Wolves set to sign Huddersfield Town midfielder

Wolves are set to sign Huddersfield Town midfielder Conor Coady, BBC Radio Leeds reports.

The clubs are understood to have agreed a fee in the region of £2m and he is currently having a medical.

Coady, 22, made 45 league appearances for the Terriers last season after joining from Liverpool for a fee of around £375,000 in August 2014.

He will be the second player to join Wolves this summer after Portsmouth midfielder Jed Wallace.

Good signing - he'll do well there.

For the same money (reportedly) I'd rather have Bridcutt anyway

Indeed he's not a bad player but £2 million is a lot for a player with his experience. Huds have done alright out of it, £1.6 million profit in one season.

Conor Coady: Wolves sign Huddersfield Town midfielder

Wolves have signed Huddersfield Town midfielder Conor Coady for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £2m.

The former Liverpool trainee has signed a three-year deal.

Coady, 22, made 45 league appearances for the Terriers last season after joining from the Reds for a fee of about £375,000 in August 2014.

He is the second player to join Wolves this summer after Portsmouth midfielder Jed Wallace.

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett told the club website:  "He had a very good season at Huddersfield last year - his first at this level - and he will complement the midfield players that we have.

"He is in the type of age group that will have the hunger to improve and try and build on what he did last year."
