77 Points

So i was curious and wondered how many times 77 points wouldnt have been enough to get a play off spot. Have gone back to 1990/91 and cant find any, sometimes as low as 68 points has made it.

Not looking for an excuse, if we had scraped a draw today it would only have prolonged the agony, glad in a way its over.

Think it just shows how close its been at the top, 10 points gap to 9th is huge.

I am optimistic for next season though, im not convinced we need wholesale changes, lets get our injured players fit, hit the ground running in August. This team isnt a bad team, its still a young team, next season we will have more experience, and maybe wont have the pressure of being favourites.

Up the rams!.....

Not making the playoffs on 77 points is a first, but we don't won't make the history books for "highest points without a playoff spot", Wolves got that honour.

good point!

Imagine how gutted you'd be if you were a wolves fan.

In fact, on that point, imagine how relieved you'd be if you were an Ipswich fan, and how chuffed you'd be if you were a Brentford fan.

Then remember you're neither of those, you're a derby fan, and lovin every second of it.
