The Football League has announced its list of top ten players in each division of the Sky Bet Football League this season – with Derby County’s Chris Martin making the Championship cut.

Martin has scored 20 goals so far this season for Derby, maintaining his impressive run of form this time around after hitting the net 25 times in all competitions last term.

The lists were compiled as part of the Football League Awards 2015, and are based on votes submitted by managers of the clubs in each division.  Each manager was asked to list their top five players from this season in order, with the scores added up to compile the lists and decide the overall winners.

It's a fix. He's better than 6th.

He's better all round than bamford but he's now missed a fair chunk of the season, and that's why he's down there. Some very good players in that list.
