SRG, I understand a little your p.o.v. but Jarvis is no slouch. He was in a poor team last year, where Fat Sam was more interested in playing a turgid game to scrape a victory - they had nobody decent (Carlton Cole) upfront and therefore Jarvis effectively was trying to polish a turd. A LOAN to get him kick-started and us potentially up would not really be a "horrendous come down". I too would prefer Ince signed, or a loan to perm, but Jarvis would be a very good back-up. Guest Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 I see SRG's point to be fair. Ince though has genuine upside and he's very young. He's also proven in the past. Like I-ram says, he's the much the preferred option. Jarvis, the more i think on it, makes me nervous; he's older, doesn't really fit our transfer profile, and isn't he just a replica of Wardy, no?
