Just stop There's a lad behind me that comes up with far better material he makes up on the spot than you have in years. But here's the thing. You and your merry band of followers don't join in with songs that start elsewhere. It's got to be you that starts them. I used to back you when you was on here getting flak. Used to think you were doing your best to get an atmosphere. But you've ignored thousands of suggestions across dozens of "chant" threads. You seem to be only interested in atmosphere if you can be the one responsible for it. If it is indeed you that starts all these terrible copied and/or unimaginative chants. If not then I apologise and you can rightly tell me to piss off. If it is... dude, pick an Elvis song, a nursery rhyme, an Abba song, a Queen song, Bob Marley, UB40, Elton John anybody who's made any song that everyone knows. Pick something standout from a player (eg. You sing about Martin's penis... why? The guy has the same name as the Coldplay star that was nailing Gwyneth Paltrow and he spends 50% of his time on the floor) and make some friendly banter/abuse up. Something that might make him smile or us smile. It's not hard. Don't wait to see what Cardiff sing and then copy it to ours. I don't understand how we get to Chris Martin's penis and sex life. I thought that it made its debut at Bournemouth last season - and I certainly never heard anybody else sing it before then. In fact, wasn't there a discussion on here after the Bournemouth game about whether it sounded better singing "the" instead of "'em" or "us"? Love - Since I Was Young. PrivateDerby Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Agree with Alpha, so many lads start good songs off only to fade out with a flurry of funny looks because the flag lot didn't start it. Rather sing the classics all match. If I had the time and lived in Derby, I'd look to start something in the NE Corner.
