Gutted for Grant, I feel Kroos is more than capable of performing for the first team after his displays against zenit and reading in the cup but as said if the Englanf u21 captain is available and intersted on loan you sign him.

Some of the talent being brought to this club is unbelievable and thats including the staff too!

never knew we had toni kroos

Jack Butland: Derby County sign Stoke City goalkeeper on loan

Derby County have signed Stoke City and England Under-21 goalkeeper Jack Butland on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old joined the Potters from Birmingham City in January 2013 and had loan spells with Barnsley and Leeds last season.

Butland comes in after Lee Grant was injured in the 3-0 win over Reading.

if grant is out for 2-3 months then why are we only signing butland on a one month loan deal?

Club quotes 4-6 weeks. 4 weeks = 28 days. Might be some limitations around how long you can sign loan deals for but after those 28 days if Grant isn't fit surely it's an opportunity for Roos. Feel sorry for the poor lad if he's going to lose out.

Aww man, gutted for Granty, he's been superb, hope Butland can do the job. I'm sure he'll get the support he needs from the team and fans.

28 days is the minimum. Extend if grants out for longer
