Stive Pesley
Also as mentioned - at 32, even if he'd been playing regularly for the past two seasons, You'd question whether he'd have got an extension to the contract.
Ramarena
No time scale on his return apparently. According to Simmo, every time he steps up the intensity of training, he is getting a reaction in the knee. It's inevitable I'm afraid he won't be back, I can't think of any player who has returned from such an extensive injury. Good on him for giving it a go, some would have retired at the beginning. I just hope he isn't putting his long term health at risk.
martin
He's pretty much buggered if it is swelling every time he tries to ramp things up. His body is basically telling him no. Time is pretty much the only thing that might heal it, which he doesn't have on his side. He's a Derby lad now, he's put down his roots over here with his house, getting involved in the local arts scene. He deserves the respect of the club and the fans. t'oldu
He and the club could be working their way towards an insurance settlement. Much as we all wanted him to make it back this is now the most likely outcome and there will be certain formalities that have to be gone through.
