Albert Posted July 12, 2014 Share Posted July 12, 2014 As you say it wasn't the same trophy, I think one of these 2 teams should keep the present trophy, it would be unfair having let Brazil keep the original trophy.I think there's too much marketing around the current one to change anything. It was under the Nazis, but was amended after the war and the questionable first verse was removed. It is now Deutschlandlied. (Germany song).
