YorkshireRam Posted June 29, 2014 Share Posted June 29, 2014 In my opinion yes we are in need of more quality if we are to push for promotion but according to McClaren we are 'going for the top 6' which in my opinion isn't good enough. We should be strengthening the squad and pushing for automatic promotion but thats my opinion and I think many would agree... Based on the games under McClaren, we would have finished 2nd... Surely that shows we have quality in abundance. We just need to replace the gaps left by Wisdom and Bamford and then hopefully sign Thorne. A better backup striker would also be nice as a luxury. Crewe offered him a new deal 18 months ago and he's refused to sign it so it looks like he'll leave.
