ketteringram
Sorry if this info is already on here somewhere! Does anyone have any stats regarding how many goals have been scored at each end this season at home games? Rampant Rob
I'd take a bet that most goals are scored in the North. Seems to be a lot of late shows this season. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/13993-north-v-south/#findComment-564603 Share on other sites

Sitting in the south stand id guess over 70% have been I front of my old seats Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/13993-north-v-south/#findComment-564604 Share on other sites
ketteringram
Guess you get some games that skew it alright. The games against Yeovil, the Ipswich game (was that 7 at the north end?). I sit about level with the edge of the 18 yard box at the south stand end. I'm convinced there have been way more at the north end so far this season! Duracell
Thought this was going to be another debate about Kettering's geographical location. It is in the South btw. Stedcfc
Yeovil, Ipswich and Blackpool all come to mind as about 15 goals which went in at the north stand end. Definitely been a lot more at that end this season. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/13993-north-v-south/#findComment-564612 Share on other sites

Duracell
Is Derby in the south then too? No, it's the North. Obviously it's actually in the Midlands but one thing Uni has taught me is that people from London or big Northern cities refuse to accept the Midlands as a concept entirely. Therefore you have to be crude. If you say "grass" like "arse", you're southern, but if you say it like "ass" then you're Northern. Ergo, Kettering = South, Derby = North. ketteringram
No, it's the North. Right. Just checking. I work in Somerset all week. Derby is closer to where I work, than Kettering is. It's 160 miles from work to home, and 148 from work to the ipro. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/13993-north-v-south/#findComment-564625 Share on other sites

I was at uni in Sheffield, my last year I was in a house with 2 manc lads, girl from Canterbury, a lad from Walsall and a lad from Stoke - so I was either Southern, Northern or Midlands all at the same time.. archram
In Bournemouth anything north of Ringwood is The North inhabited by northerners! That is unless it's someone who's come across me before who quickly remembers I'm a Midlander ( not that they have any idea what it means)!
