The Bremont in question was not at Watts jewellery. I believe it was at the window of Hinds. You did suggest Watts though and I visited there but didn't notice that they were an AD for Bremont.

No one saw you :lol:

Talking of dreams and watches......

I spotted what looked like an expensive Omega in a joblot of 14 watches. 

It turned out to be an Omega Speedmaster Professional Broad Arrow. 

Oh by the way. That's what has happened today!

Not bad for under £40 the lot!!!!

It's working and I'm wearing it now!!!!

You realise that is a £2000 watch ? It might be a good idea to show it to a clocksmith and get it oiled and cleaned if you don't know the clocks maintenance history. Congrats Steve it is an awesome watch.

I didn't realise how much it was worth until I checked it out.

I'll certainly do what you suggest.

You should do that. If it is a vintage watch it will go easily around £500. At least. Take care of it. It might be £1000-2000 too. :)

Hands silver with broad arrow ends.

Omega Seamaster Co-axial Chronometer.

 

Seamaster image, omega letter and "Broad arrow on the back.

Strap has Speedmaster professional on the clasp.

No year on the face.

3 dials in upside down triangle of circle.

day on left (as number) Date on right. (1-31)

24 hour dial underneath silver hands on small dials. luminous hour and min hands.
