Lupoli........no thanks!!! I have never understood why so many on here seem to hold him in such high esteem. His goal scoring record throughout his career has never been good and he was inconsistent (at best) when he was with us. 7 goals in 35 games and 3 came in one match against Wrexham.

Same as Barazite and Bueno, people seem to remember the hype before we signed them and the couple of exceptionally good games that bucked the trend rather than the reality!

The problem with the likes of Lupoli, Bueno and Barazite is they are like delicate tropical flowers - great to look at until you get the first frost of winter but then you have to bring them indoors until April.

barely played on a loan spell at Austria Wien and doesn't make the bench for parent club Monaco. And he especially won't now.

He's a far better chance of making the bench than making the pitch but my money is on him making the seats behind the bench in the main stand :D

Not sure what ITK stands for as it can't be 'in the know', is it 'I tweet krap'?

"MELBOURNE Heart have reportedly missed out on Norwich City's Grant Holt after failing to meet the striker's price tag - said to be around £2 million."

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/8744897/Norwich-City-striker-Grant-Holt-is-a-target-for-Australian-side-Melbourne-Heart

The CEO of Australian A-League side Melbourne Heart says that they are chasing the signing of Norwich City striker Grant Holt.

Heart had tried to bring in the 32-year old in January but were put off by Norwich's asking price and Holt went on to net eight Premier League goals.

The pending arrival of Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel means that Holt is likely to fall further down the pecking order at Carrow Road and Heart's CEO Scott Munn says they are still interested in his signature.

"We made an approach and we always knew that it would be made public and that with him being contracted for two more years it might be complicated," said Munn.

"We haven't closed the door on it as yet and will be pursuing it."

Won't be £2,000,000, 200k at best.

Just seen this on Derby County Mad - http://www.derbycounty-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/rams_to_miss_out_on_international_striker_796901/index.shtml

Immigration problems cut short Rams interest in Fijian International striker

796901-1

Derby County have been given another blow in their search for a striker. Fijian International Roy Krishna was due to have an extended trial with the Rams but developments in his request for residency in Newzealand, where he now plays may scupper the move.

Krishna (25) has been a prolific striker for Waitaker United last season and all agree he has now out grown the league and needs to move to a higher standard of football.

The problems started with his move after he was granted residence status in Newzealand. This now means he needs to stay in the Country for more than 184 days to qualify for permanent residency. This now means he would not be available for a full season with the Rams.

So the Rams miss out on the Fijian International because of technicalities.

If he needs to be playing a higher standard of football The Dog & Duck are recruiting players up here for Sunday mornings

Give it a couple of weeks and the rules will have been relaxed to allow him to sign for a Premier League team and he will go on to become the next Yakubu.

Its not that he can't sign for us, its he has to be in New Zealand for their residency rules.

He could sign for us but he wouldn't gain perminsnt residency in New Zealand. Can't see them changing immigration policy even for the premier league
