Philmycock Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 Born in Holbrook and raised in Allestree, I shall in 3 weeks be moving out of the hell-hole that is Breadsall Chavtop and into a quaint cottage in Milford (apparently named after the abundance of sexy cougars over 45 that abide there). Are there any Milfordians on this forum? Can anyone recommend any of the pubs nearby? The King William looks quaint! But never been in... There's a few too many posh boys in the Bush at weekends, but a fart seems to feck them off outside a bit. You lucky boy. The Bush hasn't changed from when you last went in, expect the old man has now been replaced by new younger owners. The landlord used to run the tool hire shop in Belper. Nice friendly chap. sage Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 The Holly Bush is one of the best 5 or 6 pubs in Derbyshire IMO and the King William is pretty good. Angelo's is a good restaurant.
