It runs a very, very close second IMO though the penultimate episode of season 3 is the best individual episode of any series I have ever seen. The Sopranos ending was brilliant. Have you read up on it? I hated it at first but once I understood it, thought it was such a spot on way to end a perfect show. David Chase is a genius.
