Last season our ground staff won team of the season for the PP pitch.  Surely it can only be the extreme weather that has affected things?

The season before Covid I had a ST  in the North Stand Lower, A few seats away from us was a Derby fan who took delight in hammering anyone who played on the pitch,  He was told by several fans to calm down...even when we were winning, It got that bad that someone complained...he wasn't abusive just fecking irritating, We never saw him again,  I guess a letter was sent..and a warning given🤷‍♂️
Those that go away who are a problem are those that have to much ale with a little coke thrown in 😉

Number 6 is a very mis-informed point. His Rotherham sides that have been previously promoted have frequently pumped teams 3,4 and 5 and been the highest scoring teams in the league.
There is a bit of a myth in football nowadays that pretty and exciting football is passing around the back and having a million touches before the ball goes into the net. I would much rather watch my side get the ball forward quickly, be more direct and play more aggressive football. I would enjoy my Saturday evening pints after watching us score lots of goals in that manner whether people find this 'attractive' or not.
I think a lot of fans are mis-diagnosing last season as Warneball when we quite frankly, didn't have the tools to do it and he said on a number on occasions that he wasn't happy with how we were playing and it isn't what we wants to see from his side.
Judge him from this season and quote me if you want. We will get promoted this year and we will score lots of goals.

LR takes some credit for the close knit group I think. When the players were being signed a lot was said about players who knew each other already and how existing squad members, such as Stearman, were used to ensure the right characters were being brought in. Given the limited time he had and the limited pool of players available due to the restrictions LR did a great recruitment job. And Warne is now doing a great job getting a tune out of players he didn’t sign.

7th April 1969 v Sheffield United  aged 7 years 11 months. We were the best team in the country for 8 years! 
 

One of the best seasons ever for going away, was that promotion campaign under Arthur.
Still remember besides the football, trips to the likes of York, can’t remember nothing about the game in truth, just being shunted into the station after the game, the coppers deciding to treat us like animals, so we behaved like it back. Several hundred baa,baa’s as they herded us through onto the train, with the end result of the old station doors hanging off the hinges and everyone pi$$ing themselves as the train left the station.
Football supporting was bloody fun being the biggest club in the league, taking over stadiums (if you could call some that, who remembers the many away ends that were just open concrete terraces), out-singing locals, none of the premier league trappings. 
Next year could be fun.
