  1. I agree. He for me would be a upgrade on Korey Smith and has only this season played Premiership football. His connection to the city will help us attract him to the club which we may otherwise not be able to do. Not sure why. Or if the two signings are even related.
  2. Hopefully! He would be a perfect signing. Local lad, championship experience, within the right age portfolio and a versatile player.
  3. That young lad called Phil Foden isn't a bad player.
  4. It's hard to get any sort of competitive team together with the current contracted sqaud as it's so thin. Hopefully a handful of signings will change all of that though, as we already have some decent players who could make the step up.
  5. I saw a little chap in little messy looking car drive up towards Oakwood earlier sadly it wasn't Messi.
  6. All depends on how we are going to play. If its 352 then for me he doesn't really fit in or have a role. If it's 343 or 4231 then I think he would be a solid addition to the sqaud playing on either side of the front line.
  7. Hopefully not. What do you feel the stumbling block is at the moment. His wage or the length of the contract we are offering?
  8. Nonsense article. Many ex players still live in the area despite leaving the club, so it can't be too bad can it? Also Nottingham and Leicester aren't great places to live and they don't have a problem attracting players do they?
  9. Maybe a couple of million in total? I doubt it will be much more. I do think if we act early there is plenty of decent free agents about.
  10. If we don't have a sponsor lined up will this hinder us in the transfer market?
  11. I personally feel 343 fits our sqaud the best. My only concern with it is getting over run in midfield especially if don't have some real grit and energy in the middle of the park.
  12. What a fight. Usyk the clear winner for me and Tyson was lucky he was saved by the ring ropes. No idea what the judge who gave the fight to Tyson has been drinking.
  13. Tommo and Fornah at centre mid then?
  14. Wildsmith leaving is the only disappointing one. However we can and will replace him. Hopefully Sibley and Collins sign new deals. Sibley as he bleeds black and white and Collins as I feel he will be a solid hardworking sqaud player. Need to go out and get our number 1 GK now, a few CM's and center foward now as a priority.
  15. Can't wait for this one, it could go either way. I hope Usyk wins. True warrior of a man. Sick of the Furys behaviour.
  16. Hopefully we will, as it will put a end to a lot of this speculative.
  17. Yesterday Wildsmith was off to Pombey and today its Rotherham. Madness. I thought we had to release our retained list by tomorrow? Unless I am mistaken
  18. Could Danny ward be a shout in goal? Welsh international, prime age for a keeper at 30 years old and will be seeking a move away from Leicester as he's not getting a look in.
  19. What would be his reasoning is to go to Pombey as it's hardly a step up. Money? Personal reasons?
  20. Nothing concrete or confirmed yet. .
  21. I can get behind offering all four of those new contracts. The main talking point will be Wildsmith not having a new deal but I trust PW will have his reasons. Johansson is the obvious choice now.
  22. Versatile player at the peak of his career, plenty of championship experience and a Derby lad. I can certainly get behind that if his wages are reasonable.
  23. Thompson and Sibley are a must surley? They bleed black and white.
