Slightly rogue XI to shake things up:

                                      Wildsmith

                       Chester    Cashin     Forsyth
        Knight                                                         Roberts
                      Smith           Bird       Hourihane

                              McGoldrick  Dobbin

Warne's preferred 5 at the back, but attacking wing-backs. We've rarely dominated in midfield in the second half of this season so maybe a 3 would help. Dobbin and Didzy with free roles to drift as neither are traditional 'play off the shoulder of the last man' strikers?

Aren't Knight and Cashin on international duty ?

    Who? Derby and Huddersfield
    What? A football match
    When? 19:45, Wednesday, 2nd February 2022
Where? The John Smith's Stadium / Live on RamsTV!
Why? To annoy the EFL and Gibson when we win 3 points

Bielik and Jozwiak both came off the pitch with injuries. Will they be available for this one?

    Allsop
    Byrne   Steargoat   Davies   Buchanan
    Festy   Bird   Tommo   Knight
    Lawrence
    Plange

Subs: Roos, Cashin, Forsyth, Robinson, Sibley, Ebiowei, Kazim

    Beilek for Thomson if fit.

Thanks. I thought that I had checked the DFCF website. I wonder if Reading always does that, or if it is a Covid measure ... ?

I don't think that I will ever organised enough to be an away fan!

I wonder if home tickets are being sold on the day. I'm just not sure that I would be good enough at pretending not to be a Derby fan! How hard is it to sit in the home end and (a) not cheer for Derby and (b) to not cheer the other team when others around you are cheering!

PS. I guess someone will probably be going to Reading and have a spare ticket! But, I'm not sure that I am certain enough to buy a train ticket!

I went to Man U v Derby in April 1997 in the Stretford end. We went 1 nil ,kept quiet ,but then 2 nil with Wanchope's wonder goal I went berserk. Thankfully everybody was oo.k.

Excellent pre-match interview with Wayne. He's very measured in everything he says, thoughtful, dignified and calm and quick to praise those he works with and you just know that the respect and loyalty is mutual.

I was glad to hear him speak about building a better relationship with the EFL and he spoke of them respectfully. Regardless of how he really feels about our eye-watering debts and the appalling way our club has been left, he just chooses his words carefully and professionally.

I hope that in the future he cuts it as a premier manager, but for now I'm just so glad that he is with us. He gives me confidence to believe that all will eventually be well.

I really hope for everyone's sake that tomorrow will be a good day!! COYR

Must be tempting to the administrators to get rid of the salary of Rooney and Lawrence
