I honestly believe we ignore GD at our peril. Yes- most expected Bolton to win but we needed by the odd goal….

Watching that Bolton game against Reading… had the former down to win but 🤞 re the GD…..🙏 3-1..

My biggest worry now is that what was going to be a real last-game thriller between Posh and Bolton might now be a lot easier for Bolton with Posh destined for the playoffs and resting /protecting players for them.

Obviously hoping for the best but fear that after all the talk etc it will be another Barnsley (a) let-down. A loss I can take …. But we need to keep it to the odd goal at all costs. I don’t want us being reckless chasing a lost game and conceding 3 or 4. GD is going to be massive

Funny how we talk of ‘investors’ … when nearly all, if not all, are effectively giving the Club money and receive no financial return on it at all- in fact it’s lost. I wonder how many fans - assuming they were multi millionaires would ‘invest’ in the Club in this manner… We can slag MM off as much as we do but the fact is he gave the Club millions …yes, it turned out a disaster but he still lost a bundle of cash…

There’s also the argument that teams play better when not under any sort of pressure…

Great result and what a difference a week makes, but there’s still a long way to go and lots of twists and turns yet I am sure. Bolton have two relatively ‘easy’ (on paper) games next which I expect them to win, even though (like us) they aren’t playing particularly well. Dion Charles also likely to be back soon. Their form has been poor overall since Xmas but they haven't lost many games If (as most of us expect) we lose to Pompey then by the end of next week Bolton could be right up on top of us again. Even a point at Pompey would be massive ! The key may well be the GD- so , even if we do lose, then it needs to be by the odd goal and ditto any Bolton wins. Still see this going down to the last game if I am honest. Real squeaky bum time … COYR 🐏🐏
