They obviously watched the Northampton game- pushing right up right and quickly on our WBs and wingers. We need to mix it up and also come thru the middle: we are a bit predictable.

Let’s be honest- it’s been a disaster of a day. Made even worse by NML hamstring injury. How many calf injuries have we had this season !? Foz plays a blinder and now his season finished with another calf injury. Looking at what’s left of the squad (and who is actually fit) one can’t but help thinking that we will now drop off into the playoffs. 😳

Maybe if we had used what little money we had to attract a quality striker in Jan rather than waste it on ‘our first choice target’ who was supposed to be the fillip to push us on but can’t get in the side….

I hate to admit it, but u r correct. Call it complacency, arrogance or whatever… was already too much talk in the fan base of the last game promotion celebration etc. Lots more hard work and graft required. It’s the hope that kills. Credit to Northampton- they have set up a certain way to suit their small pitch and they have totally stymied us. We have spent most of the match playing their game.

Amazed at lack of changes at HT- mind u, we don’t have a fistful of options I guess. Would love to know the real situation re CBT and why he isn’t now being played- no one has really pushed PW on the matter- but his purchase (particularly when it was done) seems to have been a disaster…

Yes- if he felt he could rely on Bradley to either stop or hold up his man… as would have been the case if the defender was Nelson instead- pwhich is maybe why he got drawn into that empty space between the crosser and the scorer. If u look at the replay I’m not sure Cash even knew what or who was behind him. Look, these things happen- I was and am just trying to put some balance on the responsibility- team game afterall. 👍

We just don’t look like a team today. Plus we need our bright sparks (NML) to step up and show that class. Our midfield looks very lackluster.

To be fair to Bradley Cash was as much at fault- watching the ball not the player.
