That's 2 good breaks after NML loses the ball. Our lack of pace exposed again.
-
Gaining control now. Collins has another shot blocked away for a corner which is hit too near the keeper
-
Good work by Collins to win the ball twice. But delayed his shot which was blocked. Decent chance
-
Slack work from Sibley, Elder has to take a booking to stop a break. Very open game.

And that's why you don't want him in a back 4. His part in Burton's first goal was glossed over. Seddon just ran past him with no challenge. -

All 3 need to be a goal threat. He isn't. -

He doesn't have the finishing ability to play in a front 3 -

He is ok wide in a 4 man midfield but not a front 3. -

We need 3 wingers for the 2 places. We now have 3. We can manage minutes better now. -

CBT wasn't playing. Why would he watch someone we are already signing? -

Saw him outside McTurks tonight. He was sat on the kerb with a large donner Must have signed but isn't fit for Saturday -
It's a great pub, especially in the snug. Only problem is if you like dark beer, the keg stuff is served ice cold. You have to leave it an hour to drink

One thing I noticed yesterday re the first goal and a similar situation in the first half. Wilson being too close to NML whilst he is being challenged or NML taking risk when Wilson is too close/looking to run past him. They had an argument in the first half and then it happened again for the goal. Having said that, it was a foul on NML IMO

We certainly need to be able switch to it at the right time if we do start with a two. -
The shot was deflected off Nelson. It ended being in a perfect pace.
-
It won't be helped by being hauled off 2 minutes after a mistake

Excellent post

Some thoughts from watching the highlights. For their first goal it's a clear foul on NML and the shot is deflected off Nelson who should have been a yard nearer. Their second was a hell of a pass from Seddon, like a bullet and took a poorly positioned Elder out of the game, slip or not. I was irritated by RD last night lavishing praise on Burton saying we were lucky. We've had 5 or 6 chances better than anything they created beyond the goals. Even in the second half, we've still created the better chances. John-Jules was ok for 40-50 minutes which is all he has in him. Created the early NML chance then won the ball for our first goal. He needs to build strength and fitness and I think Warne left him on too long last night

I'm sorry but I've no idea what you are saying If it is Warne should have put a 3rd midfielder on earlier, then yes I agree

Brannagan wouldn't dominate in a midfield 2 against a 3 like Posh have. He's a younger Hourihane -
We eventually brought subs on and they tired themselves
-
Their goals were nothing to do with our CM area. None of their attempts at goal came from that area. We had 66% possession. We should have switched to a 3 man midfield earlier than we did as we tired and they started bringing fresh legs on, but I'm not sure he trusts the 3 back ups 100%.

They weren't amazing but did ok under the circumstances. We dominated the first half but tired.
