Can we please stop talking about Mel and focus on the future. Luckily Mel will be nowhere near.
The problem being he will always be “near “while he or his family own the stadium. Our association with Morris has been like treading in a pile of dog mess, you can clean it off but the stink lingers for much longer. One day hopefully ( eventually )we can put all this Morris crap behind us.

You’ve got quite an axe to grind haven’t you. No one denies Mel gambled and lost; costing us all this heartache and him a shed load of dosh. The singular, blinkered outlook you project, despite this, is frankly risible.
We all complained vociferously at Bieliks signing - or did we ?
Of course Covid never happened - fake news
Of course we “chose” not to apply for Covid relief - I mean you just wouldn’t would you
Middlesbrough owner wasn’t on a mission as a self appointed saint of all moral behaviour
Coughig isn’t a cheap chancer.
HMRC allowed the debt to climb to these levels … why ? Are they devoid of responsibility? They have powers beyond belief. So who messed up in their camp ? Or did they hand us a rope and point to a handily placed beam ?
The EFL behaved impeccably while investigating our FFP violations and treated us with huge respect and honesty. At no time were they ever swayed by other members and they resisted threats to their organisation with heroic impartiality. They exercised balance and proportional behaviour at all times in applying sanctions, accepting arbitration decisions with equanimity. REALLY ?
The finances of football in general and the Championship in particular aren’t twisted and dysfunctional for all but the parachute clubs. Noooo of course not.
Yeah but it’s all Mel’s fault cos his name was on the door and he took out pay day loans in the vain hope of most gamblers
for gods sake get some perspective
Yep and don’t forget Morris is the one who let / encouraged us cheat for 5/6 consecutive seasons FFP..It’s all his fault 100%. He’s a chancer who failed.

I reckon the Mel Morris story is a very clever piece of expectation management by Quantuma. They've leaked the story because we won't like the actual PB, but will be relived that they're better than MM.
So who is only a bit better than Mel? - I'm going for Fawaz
Maxwells ghost,Jack the ripper or Jimmy Saville.

So it’s all Mels fault according to you .
Thats too simplistic
Simply ALL Morris’s fault 100%.Claims to be a supporter /lover of the club but put us into this debacle. It has all taken so long because he is trying to get the best deal for himself not dcfc or the creditors. When Bolton were in a similar mess Phil Davies who had lost £166 million paid all the local Bolton creditors out of his own pocket. He said he couldn’t live with the shame of destroying local people’s lives.A far cry from Mr Morris who should hang his head in shame.

The club is the fans. Who cares about a new corporate entity and a slight name change.
Surely it’s absolutely not the FANS it’s all about who puts the money in (the owner) and by the look of it,in the future, where the money comes from too. The fans have been treated as an irrelevance by Morris.

Not a chance we will hear anything.
The admins keep feeding Rooney crap. They tell him bad news but then sprinkle a bit of hope in there because they are probably scared of him.
I've said it since Christmas, I'm convinced the admins feed Rooney what they think he wants to hear.
Why else did rooney Believe we would be making signings in January and then free signings after January, the admins were feeding him that balony.
I can't see a PB being announced before the end of the season.
Exactly this .were being shafted from all angles.

We can sign out of contract players if the Pb has paid a deposit. And if the Efl let’s us. I am more concerned about renewing existing player contracts for next year and beyond.

After Morris and Gibson sorted out their differences, i thought the wheels would turn a little bit quicker than this. I know we need to be patient, but don't they realise a named bidder would give us all a massive lift players/staff/fans alike. Could be the difference, come the end of the season. 'Gerron wi it' ffs
No one seems to be bothered!! Didn’t Morris say the target date for being out of administration was MAY.Some good that is,more administrators fees to be found and no chance of signing out of contract players. It seems the EFL aren’t the only ones doing their best to make sure we are relegated .

Not sure you have really answered the question.
What have you seen or what has been said to indicate that Morris is very close to the administrators?
Which of Morris's wishes are the administrators pandering to?
These are genuine questions as I've seen nothing to back it up but have seen a few people suggesting it.
If you honestly believe that it is Morris and the administrators holding things up I'm not sure that you can be following the case too closely.
I just feel Morris is being involved too much .probably me reading too much into things but Morris is so untrustworthy. He has made a statement tonight but he could have done so months ago. With Morris it always seems to be someone else’s fault.

Genuine question here, in what way does he seem 'very close to the administrators' and in what way are the administrators 'pandering to Morris's wishes'?
Surely when he called in the administrators that was him done with the club .Pearce was to be his eyes and ears with them .The administrators must know how much he wants for pride park and have all the details .Do the details keep changing ? If so why ? Morris and or the administrators seem to be holding everything up .Morris has come out of the woodwork tonight but could have done so months ago.Ps I don’t believe Morris to be trustworthy and think he is capable of anything.

They'll argue that the case is against DCFC, MM has left the club so has no dealings with DCFC, Now, The EFL have asked MM and other stakeholders to get in a room and sort this, So that's blown the EFLs arguement that it's against DCFC when asking MM to come to a meeting.
The EFL will save face if they tell Boro/WW to take MM on, Boro/WW have everything to lose and very very little to gain
Has Morris left the club though? He seem to be very close to the administrators who I thought were supposed to be doing there best for the creditors not pandering to Morris’s wishes.I genuinely feel if Morris did cut all ties with DCFC Gibson would drop his vile vendetta against them. Gibson seems to want Morris out of and away from football forever. Morris to me seems to still want to be involved somewhere down the line and that is causing this impasse which is slowly strangling us.Morris has really pissed Gibson off to an unbelievable level.

Clement has an outstanding record in the role he’s just been given ??♂️
Not in this country. Only under very experienced (defensive minded)managers where he was working (supervising training)for world class players.I don’t think Everton have many of those !! We will see how they go on.

I recon this is a recipe for disaster ,who the hell would want to employ clement.Harry may come in as advisor on how to lose your fortune. No wonder football is in such a mess.

We had just sold PPS when Lampard was in charge so no reason to think we were not within FFP then.
Pete would any money actually have come into the club though? Surely Morris only transferred it to another of his company names.
