The sooner can can flush our time in this diabolical division the better -
Done. If he uses my response my fee is 1% of all his future earnings.

Agreed, although better teams than Vale and Rovers (who were both rubbish tbh) won't let us have it so easy. -

About as good a weekend as we could have hoped for. Back in to second, there on merit now. Good stuff. -

Solid enough. The game wasn't a classic bet we mostly did the right things throughout and deserved the win. Could have had more goals on another day. -

The run in between Barnsley, Bolton and Derby is like watching three bald men fighting over a comb. -

Right, I've been moaning about the state of our performances all season but I'm parking that for the run in. Off arse or elbow I do not care, just win the games and get out of this tinpot league. -
Have our expectations as a club been eroded so significantly that we should now consider playing at the top end of League One as acceptable? Not for me, not a chance. Aim high.
-
If we fail to go up it won't be because of referees. It will be because of our poor start to the season and our knack of chucking away points from winning positions since the turn of the year.

Who will win? The team that folds like a pack of cards when they go 1-0 down or the team that folds like a pack of cards when they go 1-0 up? -

Absolutely no reason for us to set up in any other way than positively for this one. If we go in all meek and worried about their strengths it would be criminal. They should be worried about us, let's give them something to worry about with the way we set up. -
This is why I suspect he doesn't really 'enjoy' being Derby manager. More pressure, more expectations, less patience. Comes with the territory of managing a good sized club. His whole personality and setup just seems geared towards a club punching above it's weight, not a club expecting more than it currently has.

As I said before, tactical cowardice from Warne.
-
Disagree with this to be honest. Our squad on paper is in a mini-league if it's own with Pompey and Bolton. The quality of sides outside of that this year are desperately poor.
-
11 points dropped from winning positions in this calendar year so far, and it's only February. Tactical cowardice from Warne is the main reason as far as I'm concerned.
-
Warne's style of football is simply unsuitable for a club our size. It gives him absolutely no room for error because there is no goodwill in the bank to give the fans something to cling on to when results are poor. The football is utterly dreadful and has been all seasons. We are where we are because we are financially more powerful than most of the league even with our restrictions and have players that can paper over the cracks in our amateurish setup.

v Charlton Athletic (H) Match Day Thread

If we end up in the playoffs I have absolutely no faith in our ability to get through them. Mentality, weak. Tactical nouse, weak.
