  1. It would be more understandable if we weren't 4 on the league,a few points behind the top spot and with a still admirable record over the past 13 games. To be honest,I'd prefer us to play like we did in 2014 to 15 under Mac and we had a striker like CM again, but we are where we are and all that matters is to get promoted which warne has a track record of achieving. I do think that warne as person grates some people on her (not me,I actually like the guy) and that's behind a lot of the negativity here....after all the football under Rooney was worse and took us to relegation but some on here who now hate warne still fawned all over him (cards on the table I couldn't bear the bloke) Let's get behind him (you don't have to like him) and the team, get promoted and take another look once we are back in the league we should be in.
  2. I wonder if there's some sort of device that could be fitted to Collins to keep him in the opposition's box when we are crossing into it? He seems to take great delight in being in precisely the wrong place at precisely the wrong time. A unique attribute for a striker.
  3. I still enjoy his interviews and the fact he's not formulaic like so many others which just dull to listen to. But then,I like his personality unlike some.
  4. Terrible spell for us,sitting back like that always invites pressure. We got what we deserved there.
  5. That's a horrible looking pitch,looks like it's been ploughed overnight. *Doesn't stop Mendez tho 😁*
  6. No learning in it,he gambled on an experienced and improved first half side to control and hold onto the game...with the intention of fresh legs later on. It very nearly paid off but didn't this time. We still gained more points over the period than Peterborough don't forget. To be fair,he could have gone the other way and the usual moaners would still have appeared to wring their hands in disbelief.
  7. Just back in The closest game of the season and we were closely matched..they had their athetisim and we had experience and a bit of guile. A draw would have been fairest but we had our chances at the end,as did they but it eventually dropped to them at the death and they took it. Not worried about this result at all,we have still collected a lot of points over Christmas which will stand us in good stead. We carry on,COYR
  8. So about 20 pissed up blokes then... Tenuous. As I said, you see what you want to see
  9. I wasn't aware that there was an issue with the fan base other than those few who choose to see it that way.
  10. It's surely no coincidence that Tommo almost exactly resembles Gemmill at the same age.... Cheers Archie, the boys done good!
  11. What a win, what a comeback. Bloody love that and this team. Autos here we bloody come
  12. A draw will do for me today, this is going to be one of those games that just come along every now and then.
  13. Two individual errors that you just couldn't predict.... I wouldn't like to be in the dressing room at half time if this doesn't change. Warne must be absolutely fuming with these plonkers
  14. Firstly, what a Muppet Second, the forward had already kicked the ball out when the collision took place What the actual f***
  15. They were hopeless because we five man pressed them to death for the first 60 minutes...that's not sustainable if you have two more games in the next week... The changes were spot on in terms of the time played and also to safely run the game down to the end.
  16. What? Are you describing warne it your own demeanour on here? He has been criticised for being too cheerful in the past! The blokes a perfectionist,he wants the team and players to play to the best of their ability and it riles him when they don't. Always a moan on here, wherever we are in the league. Cheer up sage,it's Christmas
  17. You are either worthy or not,the table doesn't lie. I'd rather it's was maclarenesque flowing football but I don't really give a s*** if we get promoted and warne has a proven track record of achieving it playing it his way over a season.
  18. I think you are scrutinising it too intensely. Warne doesn't do subtle,he happy or he's pissed off with little in-between plus he's a perfectionist which leads to the sort of interview we saw last night. I can see where he's coming from to be honest.I thought out overall performance was pretty lacklustre and needs a lot of improvement but I'm happy with a win. If he'd of been outwardly happy with the game, then that's when I would have been concerned.
