  1. I actually believe that Warne was forced to play the kids against Wolves. I refuse to believe he voluntarily gave them minutes, only to then disregard them in the following 2 games, where they could very easily have played.
  2. He is terrible. The best thing the club could do is sack him now and get him replaced. The next few games are completely winnable and had Warne done things differently, we could have been heading into them with a couple of fresh new emerging options, especially Weston. A breath of fresh air in the attack. As it is, Warne couldn't spot talent if he was a page 3 photographer. He will stick with his same tactics and his same clic of players and while the next 4 games are entirely winnable, we will be lucky if we get 2 wins.
  3. With no footy this weekend this is a great opportunity for Warne to go and watch the future generations. Let's just hope he isn't washing his hair.
  4. For all of the criticisms of Warne and there are lots, the way he has chosen to manage the emergence of Weston is the biggest concern to me. When Derby went 3 up against Barnsley it meant we could reward 1 or 2 of the youngsters who performed so well against Wolves, Weston being the main one. A goal and an assist, I am sure he would have been chomping at the bit to add to this. The fact he brought Bradley et al on, the same players who fail week in week out, flogging the same dead horse time and time again, shows just how much he values the kids and how much faith he has in them. It is inexplicable that he didnt chuck Weston on for at least 10 minutes against Barnsley and tell him to go enjoy himself. If nothing else, he could grow to become a sellable asset that we could use to recoup the money we have lost from being out of both cups in the first round.
  5. Weston looks a good prospect; a team like Peterborough would have had him in playing league games by now...and he would be well on the way to be worth millions. Warne is too chicken to pick the kids, he prefers proven players like Bradley.
  6. I don't really know what I'm doing I got lucky Saturday We were beasting them Sonny Bradley is great in bed
  7. No I wouldn't. Weston was crying out for minutes on Saturday. I wouldn't have started him, but at 3 nil it would have made more sense bringing Weston on than Sonny Bradley.
  8. Because Warne is clueless. Weston earnt a place in the team but Warne showed on Saturday he has no intention of playing him. Terrible management.
  9. Playing against league 2 Crewe with a full strength side, twice, isn't for everyone.
  10. Because Mel and Derby stopped Brighton, the team he supports, getting to the playoff final.
  11. I look forward to hearing what the Baron has to say next.
  12. That isn't criticism, it is the state of play should that turn out to be the case.
  13. I'm not concerned. DC is a hero for stepping in and saving the club. No criticism aimed his way at all. I've just had a hunch MM hasn't gone and I also think Mike Ashley will eventually take over, promotion dependent.
  14. And what about MM still having boots on the ground?
  15. Well, either MM has nothing to do with Derby and I am wrong, along with Maguire and the Derby County employee contact he has...or, yes..DC isn't being truthful. It isn't up to me to decide which that is. MM still being involved was purely my hunch.
  16. I've long suspected and still do, despite what Clowes said, that MM is still lurking around somewhere. There is just no way SP keeps his job imo if that wasn't the case. With the vitriol pointing in SPs direction, a quick win for DC would be to thank him for his time and wish him well..but he chose to keep him to the amazement of fans. Maybe we, as a club, owe MM money and he is putely keeping tabs on it.
  17. RIP mate. The forum has lost one of its most respected posters and Derby lose one of its biggest fans. I lived next door to Daniel, only for a brief time as kids and I remember him being a lovely lad back then. Guide us back to the top 🙏
  18. Perfect game to give Weston 10 minutes today as reward for his display the other night. Once NML went off we could have just done with his pace and Terrier type style.
  19. He didn't sail ships During The War, by any chance?
  20. Shame, can't imagine we will be seeing any little Derby flags draped on the seats anymore, now they really are a slip hazard.
  21. So Jordan Mutch just coincidentally joined Birmingham City after Terry Westley left derby and joined them, not because Terry told them to.
