  1. Rams 2 - 1 Barnsley FRGS Mendez-Laing
  2. Niall McAndrew, been with us since under 9s, according to our website.
  3. I love this list and a fair few of these still playing at a decent level. 👌
  4. With us, hopefully. Only 23, we can grow better together.
  5. That's a fair point and not criticising you, as I know you put a lot of effort and expense into coming over to see Derby play live, but surely bums on seats in the stadium will help create a better atmosphere to spur our young lads on to the win? Plus most people who attend spend money in the concourse, too.
  6. Going. I'll wave to the TV viewers, we'll probably be a select group!
  7. A hint at tomorrow's team? I'd post this in the matchday thread if we had one @S8TY!
  8. That's long been the case, sadly and in the past we've had some awful seats whilst being in the 'first' category. So far this season more blocks have gone on sale together at the start of sales - I think clubs are anticipating our high numbers of supporters. Port Vale, for example. Reading still released only the corner blocks, so later sales will get better seats than us.

  10. Got so fed up reading this rubbish that I decided to pop over to last year's Round One thread, where people will recall we drew with a team at the bottom of the National League, for a comparison. Some things don't change, but we had less possession, many less shots and were much more rubbish than yesterday. We scored our two goals there very much against the run of play. A few days later, we drew (lost on penalties) away at Liverpool and all was well again. That's football.
  11. Not everyone. Just spoke to my hubby who was at the game and he thought a draw was the least we deserved (with the caveat that we are rubbish at defending!) Of course he has the advantage of not being part of the hysteria being whipped up here. He was watching the football.
  12. I thought the way they set up with defenders sitting high across the front of their box stopped us playing those little through balls and channelled us exactly where they wanted us - out wide. The crosses we then put in were high and suited their defenders rather than our attackers. This was particularly noticeable first half. Second half we mixed it up by going inside sometimes, and played less high crosses but more cut-backs when we were wide. I am happy for you to disagree with me, but that's what I thought I saw.
  13. Exactly. We had 32 shots but according to some on here all we did was put crosses in that didn't find a target. Only 8 on goal but there were a fair number of good blocks from their defenders. I thought particularly in the second half we tried really hard to play with variety through the middle into the box. The ref was also very lenient with some of Crewe's "marking" and they did seem to have the rub of the green with loose balls, ricochets etc. Pompey, as you say are out to a non-league club. We kept going. Luckily the players panicked less than some on here and we have a replay against a team doing well in League Two, and with much younger players than us. But for some very poor defending for their first goal, I thought we did okay.
  14. Derby trying their best to play through the middle (have been doing most of the second half, tbf) but Crewe are defending like gladiators, making the save or getting a boot in across the box. The FA Cup script is well written, just watched Chesterfield beat Portsmouth earlier, top of League One. I'm not sure what Warne is expected to do with the players he's currently got, because no matter who he puts put there/brings on, the results are similar. Plenty of effort, not enough aggression. And as I type that, Derby score.
  15. Bradley still complaining to the ref at half time. He needs to calm down.
