  1. Not got much choice but would expect it to be a back 4 vs Blackpool. He will probably try and go to a back 3 for Pompey away. Collins & Washington wont be fit enough to start thats for sure. 433 - Wildsmith - Wilson Nelson Cashin Elder - Smith Adams Hourihane - Sibley Waghorn CBT Loach Robinson Ward Radcliffe Thompson Collins Washington Maybe Fornah or Bird will be fit enough to make the bench. Allen, Weston & Fapetu could be other options.
  2. Id be making 3 changes - Elder for Sibley, Smith for Hourihane & CBT for Thompson
  3. CBT hasnt really been given a chance yet & appeared to be short of fitness when joining us. Dont why he is being written off already by some. I understand people questioning why he isnt starting but maybe Warne & staff have done their homework & think a 352/3412 is more suitable today. Also, if CBT had started we would have had only Washington as an attacking option from the bench whereas now we have 2 options to change the game & freshen it up. Its a squad game, there is a reason we are top (i think) for the number of goals scored by subs.
  4. I cant see Sibley & Ward starting at wingbacks this weekend. I dont think Warne will risk Ward starting especially when he has Wilson available. I think he will then go woth a more defensive LWB in Elder but then having Sibley as an attacking option from the bench.... Wildsmith - Nelson Forsyth Cashin - Wilson Adams Smith Elder - NML Waghorn CBT Loach Bradley Ward Thompson Hourihane Sibley Washington
  5. Not sure on the extent of Ward & Barkhuizens injuries would imagine they wont feature with Warne not liking to take risks... Wildsmith - Nelson Forsyth Cashin - Wilson Smith Adams Elder - NML Waghorn CBT Loach Bradley Thompson Fornah Hourihane Sibley Washington I would think its 2 of Fornah, Ward, Barkhuizen & Washington depending on their fitness that makes the bench.
  6. I think a fresh & fit CBT could play a huge part in these final 7 games, will give us a chance to hopefuloy rest Barkhuizen & NML. Good to see in the videos after the match that he seemed well involved with the players & seems to have settled into the team so hopefully we start to see what he can offer ob the pitch
  7. Had to be Wilson who bagged the winner after Bolton decided against signing him after his medical there....their loss is our gain, two fold 🤣 Northampton game next week is massive now as we're the only top 6 team playing so gives us chance to get 3 points on the board. Hopefully a week between games gives Ward, Bradley & Barkhuizen chance to rest up/recover. Sounds like Washington could be back involved too.
  8. How today goes will depend alotnon our press, Bolton like to play out fromt the back & even in their 5-0 win midweek Oxford got a few chances from pressing Bolton so if we get it right we could nick a goal or 2 from it
  9. Derby 1 Bolton 2 Frgs Gayle I actually think it will be 2-1 us but we have done well when I have predicted against us 🤣
  10. Rams 1 Reading 1 Frgs Barkhuizen
  11. His energy off the ball in recent weeks has been excellent but doesnt always get noticed. For our 3rd goal vs Port Vale it came from him chasing a hopeless ball down & winning us a throw which led to our goal.
  12. Is Fornah injured? Robinson making the bench over him is interesting
  13. As I am sure everyone on here knows, we play Bolton at home March 16th....however, this is during the international break. Is there any chance this gets postponed? If so, when are we likely to find out? Both us & Bolton have had games postponed previously due to call ups. From our squad we potentially have NML, Cashin & Robinson who could get called up. Bolton have had 5 players called up previously.
  14. 6 home games left, time for the fans to fully get behind the team no matter what is happening on the pitch, the formation or whether you like Warne or not.
  15. In a 4231: Wildsmith - Wilson Nelson Cashin Elder - Adams Hourihane - NML Bird Barkhuizen - Gayle Loach Bradley Thompson Smith Sibley CBT Waghorn If Elder isnt back then Sibley at left back with Ward or Fornah coming onto the bench
  16. No issue with the line up really, he maybe could have had Sibley at LWB but if he did plenty would moan. He was never going to go to a back 4 when Charlton play 2 upfront. I can see us going to a back 4 vs Port Vale who play with 1 upfront.
  17. Very strong line up & bench. Looks like Wilson is left wing back, looks to be either a 3421 or 3412 No defender on the bench.
  18. From Warne's post match comments I can see Elder not playing on Tuesday, also sounds like Waghorn & CBT will be in the squad. In a 3421 - Wildsmith - Nelson Bradley Cashin - Wilson Adams Hourihane Sibley - NML Bird - Gayle Loach Nyambe Smith Thompson Barkhuizen CBT Waghorn
  19. They play 2 upfront so I cant see us playing with a back 4, our play starts from the spare centre back
