  1. i think it will be either Warne or Clowes in for an interview on Monday
  2. I am just going from this, that he might risk Fozzy on the bench vs Wycombe knowing Bradley is then back after that...
  3. Pretty sure Warne mentioned that Forsyth is due back training as well as Bird & Barkuizen
  4. With us having a longer break than them & them having a cup final on Sunday on a big pitch vs a good footballing team I would hope with our team we go there on Weds and run all over them & kill them with our pace & energy. Depending on Ward's fitness I would expect the same starting 11. I have a feeling that 1 or maybe 2 of Forsyth, Bird & Barkhuizen may make the bench. It is getting to the point of the season where I think Warne might take a risk with injuries if needed, such as Forsyth as we have not first team defender on the bench.
  5. Pompey need 7points to confirm automatics, so if Bolton win on Sat as we would expect then regardless of tonights game Pompey will still need something vs Bolton
  6. Id take 2 points from these 2 away games with 3 very winnable games after. That way even if Bolton win on Sat we will be 2 points ahead of them, yes they will have a game in hand but the next game they would have Pompey & we have Leyton Orient at home so it could be that we will be 4 or 5 points ahead before their game in hand
  7. Just to continue my run of form where we win when i predict we will lose... Pompey 2 Rams 0
  8. I think we will go 433 for this game & look to hit them on the break.... Wildsmith - Wilson Nelson Cashin Sibley - Thompson Adams Smith - NML Washington CBT Loach Robinson Ward Fornah Hourihane Waghorn Collins With that line up we have some pace up front for the counter but also energy in the middle of the park. We need a midfield 3 vs their 3 as they play 4231
  9. I think Thelo Aasgaard would be a decent signing, always been impressive when I have seen him & still only 21
  10. The only centre mid we have contracted beyond the summer is Fornah. No doubt 1 or 2 might get a new deal but for me Adams is a must buy this summer.
  11. In the last 5 games - Portsmouth - 13 points (2.6 ppg) Derby - 12 points (2.4 ppg) Bolton - 6 points (1.2 ppg) PBoro - 9 points (1.8 ppg) Barnsley - 5 points (1 ppg) It would take a huge swing in form for us to throw this away now. Us & Bolton would have to pretty much swap form.
  12. I tried to predict the scores of us & Bolton with my pessimistic head on & still got us going up on goal difference....
  13. Would be quite apt if we confirm promotion away at Cambridge which is where the Warne era started
  14. Looking at that I am thinking 4231 with Sibley at left back? Either that or Ward & Wilson are full backs with Sibley in the middle in a 433
  15. I usually predict us to lose & we win, last week I had us to win & we lost so I am going for - Rams 1 Blackpool 2 Frgs Nelson
  16. Blackpool - W Pompey - L Wycombe - D Leyton O - W Cambridge - W Carlisle - W 13pts from 18 available
  17. 4 wins means that - Bolton would need to get 17pts from 21 PBoro would need 20pts from 24 But they have to play each other last day too
  18. I reckon 4 wins will do, I think we will win our last 3 games. So then we have got to beat either/both of Blackpool & Wycombe. Then take what we can from Pompey away. I think Peterborough are the ones to watch as their run in isnt too bad we just need to hope a fixture pile up & hopefully injuries hit them
  19. Not got much choice but would expect it to be a back 4 vs Blackpool. He will probably try and go to a back 3 for Pompey away. Collins & Washington wont be fit enough to start thats for sure. 433 - Wildsmith - Wilson Nelson Cashin Elder - Smith Adams Hourihane - Sibley Waghorn CBT Loach Robinson Ward Radcliffe Thompson Collins Washington Maybe Fornah or Bird will be fit enough to make the bench. Allen, Weston & Fapetu could be other options.
  20. Id be making 3 changes - Elder for Sibley, Smith for Hourihane & CBT for Thompson
  21. CBT hasnt really been given a chance yet & appeared to be short of fitness when joining us. Dont why he is being written off already by some. I understand people questioning why he isnt starting but maybe Warne & staff have done their homework & think a 352/3412 is more suitable today. Also, if CBT had started we would have had only Washington as an attacking option from the bench whereas now we have 2 options to change the game & freshen it up. Its a squad game, there is a reason we are top (i think) for the number of goals scored by subs.
  22. I cant see Sibley & Ward starting at wingbacks this weekend. I dont think Warne will risk Ward starting especially when he has Wilson available. I think he will then go woth a more defensive LWB in Elder but then having Sibley as an attacking option from the bench.... Wildsmith - Nelson Forsyth Cashin - Wilson Adams Smith Elder - NML Waghorn CBT Loach Bradley Ward Thompson Hourihane Sibley Washington
  23. Not sure on the extent of Ward & Barkhuizens injuries would imagine they wont feature with Warne not liking to take risks... Wildsmith - Nelson Forsyth Cashin - Wilson Smith Adams Elder - NML Waghorn CBT Loach Bradley Thompson Fornah Hourihane Sibley Washington I would think its 2 of Fornah, Ward, Barkhuizen & Washington depending on their fitness that makes the bench.
