  1. We did agree to sell though but it just fell through as it was too late
  2. Warne stating he wants a winger & forward to add more pace to our front line as well as an athletic midfielder. DET also saying we're still interested in Blackett-Taylor. Ive said it before but in terms of budget another midfielder will just replace Embleton if they join on loan. CBT and a pacey/athletic forward would do the trick. Sounds like Warne wants permanents & players who can be here for 3 or 4 years. I wonder if Ladapo could be an option again.
  3. Peterborough vs Barnsley on Friday too so if we can get a win vs Oxford that will be at least 2, maybe 3, teams around us dropping points as we gain 3
  4. Barker been waiting all 1st half to say that we have been able to test Tickle. Back to the game, ref been pretty poor with his cards. We have been all over them & could be 2 or 3 up, play like this for the rest of the season & we will win the league.
  5. You do if you still keep Cashin on loan
  6. Dont think NML will start following Warne's comments, probably try & get him fit for Oxford & Peterborough. Can see us changing shape for this game with Nyambe not fully fit, Ward out of sorts & NML probably out so it means we can get Wilson in but still in a more advanced position than right back - Wildsmith - Nelson Bradley Cashin - Wilson Fornah Hourihane Forsyth - Bird Barkhuizen - Collins Vickers Elder Nyambe Ward Thompson Sibley TJJ
  7. We have a little bit of money, then we will have some wages free up when Embleton's loan ends so we can pretty much replace him within the same budget. Then if we sell Cashin we will have that money to strengthen even more.
  8. Wildsmith - Ward Nelson Cashin Forsyth - Fornah Bird - Wilson Sibley Barkhuizen - Collins Vickers Bradley Nyambe Elder Hourihane NML TJJ With a few games over a short period I would start with NML on the bench ideally we dont even need to bring him on. We will then need to rotate Barkhuizen, Sibley & Wilson for the other games oxer Xmas & NY. Can also rotate Fozzy/Elder & Ward/Nyambe as well as Fornah/Hourihane/Bird.
  9. this has now been sorted so it can be closed
  10. Hi all, I bought a 1994 Bukta shirt during the Black Friday sales which has come & doesn't fit. I've been into the Megastore & because it was bought online they wont do an exchange!! I have gone to return it & they're trying to charge to post it back which is ridiculous. The reason I am on here, and I don't know if I am posting in the right place or if it is even allowed to be done on here - but is anyone interested in buying this off me? It is brand new, I am just looking to get my money back, it cost me £31.50 so please message me if you're interested 🤞
  11. For a top of the table clash this looks pretty poor, have Bolton done anything other than pass it around?
  12. Just had a read through this thread having watched the game earlier. I see comments moaning about Bradley coming on, going 5 at the back but also about them getting in behind Ward.....well we didnt go 5 at the back, Nelson moved to right back meaning we were abit more solid there with Ward off. Bradley wasnt too bad, not worthy of slagging off in a 3-0 win. Didnt play outstanding but could have also got 6 or 7 today. Collins had a couple of chances as did TJJ when he came. They looked dangerous on the counter until they went down to 10 men, then it was game over. 5 wins in a row, another clean sheet. Well in form to make a push for the automatic spots.
  13. Deserved win, a huge win considering the orher results tonight too. 4 in a row, a clean sheet & TJJ back from injury with a goal. Shame that despite this people still needlessly need to have digs at players like Bradley & Collins, really what is the point? It is of no benefit to anyone & just shows negativity when its not needed. We have won 4 in a row, one of the most in form teams in the league, joint best defence & within touching distance of the top 2 without really hitting top performances YET, they will come as confidence grows, Warne himself said this is the time of year his teams start to click & kick on in the league.
  14. Ideal for me would be JCH, Mubama & Blackett-Taylor. That would add alot of strength, pace & goals to the forward line. Mubama may depend on West Ham injuries now but both JCH & Blackett-Taylor are out of contract in the summer so could maybe get them both quite cheap. Id still sell Cashin in Jan if Brighton come in at 3m, help fund the promotion push. Collins to go too if we got those 2 forwards.
  15. 3 changes for me with Forsyth coming in at left back, Fornah for Smith & Wilson for Bird with Sibley in the 10. No game at the weekend so the lads need to leave it all on the pitch, tomorrow night could be a big result with a win and the other fixtures between teams above us. No win in 10 for Port Vale though in the league so lets hope its not yet another stat we help a team to stop. Get a fast start & an early goal and we could make it a comfortable night for ourselves.
  16. Not sure if its been mentioned in the thread but i found it interesting that only 2 of the 11 that started were Warne signings (Nelson & Nyambe) yet all 7 subs were his signings.
  17. 3 league wins in a row, first time since Jan & now only 6 points off the top 2. Good tactical change at half time, we looked much better 2nd half with NML upfront with Collins
  18. Watching the warm up & Sibley is left back
  19. Looks a 4231, Smith at RB, Nyambe LB with Sibley in the 10 Very strong bench, good to have TJJ back
  20. https://www.claretandhugh.info/derby-move-for-west-ham-striker/ He came on for Antonio last season in our cup game vs West Ham. I said at the time he looked like a Paul Warne player....tall, strong, fast & pressed from the front
